CONCLUSION:

Now that you have completed the tasks in your area of discovery it is up to you to teach your classmates what you have learned. It is also up to you to learn from your classmates about what they have discovered in their areas. You will be getting into small groups. These groups will consist of one member from each group. You will take turns teaching each other about your research area. Remember to pay close attention. You will be teaching them and they will be teaching you things that will help you to compete in our Who Wants to be an Explorer game.

Afterwards we will discuss what we have learned and take another look at the items in the discovery box discussing what we now know about them. We will also complete our St. Croix Island chart of discovery by moving items from our “what we think we know” section to our “Yes, we were right” section, adding to our “new information" section, and completing our “wonderings” section.

After that we will be ready to play our Who Wants to be an Explorer game again. I know everyone will do much better now that they have learned all about the explorers with this WebQuest!
